Campground Policies

Welcome to our family’s home at Hidden Valley Campground & RV Park
PLEASE NOTE: all site numbers are tentative as we may have to adjust sites to accommodate individuals & groups. We reserve the right to assign and reassign sites as we see fit. Prices are subject to change without notice. Site fees include 1 vehicle,1 sleeping unit, 2 persons aged 16 years & older, and 2 persons aged 15 years & younger, and 1 pet, if applicable. Additional persons staying in the same sleeping unit are $5.00 per person aged 16 years & older and $3.00 per person aged 15 years & younger, per night. Additional pets are $3.00 each and maximums do apply.

If additional parking is required for extra vehicles, boats, trailers, etc., the parking spaces must be reserved and are $7.00 per night (we only have 3 boat/car/trailer sites for parking.

We do not allow tenting on RV sites. Children’s tents, $25.00, for persons aged 15 years and younger, must be pre-approved by management before arrival and restrictions do apply.

DRIVE SLOWLY: Walking pace is the right pace. 10 km/h maximum. Thank you
Absolutely no FIREARMS permitted. No BB guns. No Bows & Arrows.
PETS: Your pet is welcome as part of your family. When you leave the property, they go with you. Please keep on a leash at all times and clean up after. There is an off-leash dog park at Canoe Public Beach.
GARBAGE & RECYCLING: Garbage & Recycling bins are at each end of the valley campground and by the “Bird-house Park” on the upper level. Please ensure all garbage gets in the bins so wildlife is not endangered.
FIREWOOD & CAMPFIRE POLICY INFORMATION: If your site has a firepit or you are using a community gathering are firepit, please respect our policies regarding campfires / firewood, and do not bring in, or burn, outside firewood or forest debris.   This policy is in accordance with the Canadian Government’s Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) that request that firewood not be transported, even a few kilometres, to help decrease the spread of insects and/or disease.
Our firewood bundles are local and a well-seasoned, mixed-species, to give you a long-lasting, clean-burning campfire experience for a very low cost.We do rent & sell propane fire-pits for a very reasonable cost. Propane also available. Deposit required on all rentals.
RESERVATION/CANCELLATION POLICY INFORMATION:June 1 – September 13th: 30-day CP with 1 – 3 days deposit. Shoulder season: 15-day CP, with 1 – 3 days deposit. Event weekends, long weekends, groups, special bookings, longer stays, please speak with office staff regarding deposits and cancellation policies. Thanks
GUESTS & VISITORS: If you are expecting guests or visitors, please let the office know upon arrival or before AND decide who will be responsible for guest fees & parking fees.There is limited parking for visitors on the upper level and they must register at the office before going to your site. There is no visitor parking in the valley. Guests must leave the park by 9:00 PM. No exceptions.
Visitors are NOT included in your reservation and may be asked to meet you elsewhere. This is not a public park and site maximums do apply at all times. Maximum time for visitors & parking is 2 hours. SPECIAL NOTE: There are absolutely no visitors admitted on long weekends, event weekends, and/or at managements’ discretion.
Also note that visitors must know the name(s) of the registered campers and the specific site number they wish to visit. We will not give out personal information or site numbers of our campers. This is a privacy and safety issue. Please respect that.
OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS OF NOTE: We work very hard to give you a clean, safe environment to enjoy while away from home. If  you see a problem, please let us know as soon as possible so we may deal with it in a timely manner.

Please respect your neighbours, our staff, and our property. You will be asked to leave immediately, without refund, if found damaging or destroying our property, other’s property, or being abusive in any way, shape, or form. Charges WILL apply for damages/ repairs.

There are NO REFUNDS for changes in plans, inclement weather, or any other reason. You have expected a commitment from us to turn all others away from the site you are in. We expect you to also honour that commitment to us.
For safety, security, and privacy we have a locked gate. Only registered campers may take their vehicle to the valley level. There is one key supplied per site. Please return your key to the office upon checkout to avoid additional charges. Your key is for your access only. See above for visitor regulations.
June 5, 2017 This policy and instruction sheet overrides any, and all, earlier information sheets. Thank you for visiting our home and park and we hope to see you again in the future.
